School Supplies 2012
The following supplies would be helpful to have in class:
- You will need book covers for all your hard covered books. You may use Book Sox or paper grocery bags.
- A college ruled spiral notebook for math work. ALL math work is done in this notebook.
- At least 2 # 2 pencils and portable sharpener; mechanical pencils are not a good choice. The pencils I have found to be the best are made by Ticonderoga and are titled "The Best Pencil in the World". I have seen them in Wal-Mart and Target. They come pre-sharpened and are very easy to sharpen at a later time.
- 2 or 3 (1/2 or 1 inch) 3 ring binders for Social Studies, Science, and Reading. 3 holed loose leaf paper; I have a very small supply at school.
- Work folders
- A box or pencil pouch to hold your pencils, etc.
- Erasers, scissors, glue sticks, scotch tape, small stapler, ruler
- Highlighters and Sharpies for outlining.
- Blue or black erasable pen
- Colored pencils (best choice), markers, or crayons
- Each student should keep several packets of Post-It notes in class. We use them every day for reading vocabulary, etc.
